Dallas Arboretum..The Rundown

With the arrival of fall everyone is looking for ways to save on outings. After all, who doesn't love to be outside to enjoy the cooler temperatures?  The Dallas Arboretum, 8525 Garland Road, has value! Anyone can appreciate that! This wonderful event is called Autumn at the Arboretum: The Great Pumpkin Festival, and runs through November 1.

The breathtaking gardens are filled with over 25,000 unique and decorative pumpkins alongside Pumpkin Patch. The patch is also the perfect place for photo ops...there is a 10' Pumpkin Topiary! WOW!

DISHcounts:
  • Every Wednesday the Dallas Arboretum offers a buy one, get one free opportunity. With each paid adult admission guests can receive a free admission of equal or lesser value.
  • Each Thursday seniors 65 and older will receive a discounted admission to the gardens as well as a discount to the Hoffman Family Gift Shop that will come in handy for the early Christmas purchases.

DISH Bonus:

  • The Arboretum has two wonderful restaurants on site. You can eat there OR take it to go and enjoy picnic in the gardens!  Coolers, picnic baskets and all beverages are welcome in the grounds.
  • Mommy and Me Mondays and Tiny Tot Tuesdays are a great way to get the young ones out of the house and get active with dancing, singing, face painting and a petting zoo through October 27.  Strollerfit is new to the line-up every Monday at 10am.  These activities are free with garden admission from 10am-2pm.

DELISH!
